The Regional Sustainable Development Forum (RSDF) is a collaborative political body comprising representatives from central, regional and local government. Tangata whenua representation on the forum is currently being worked through.
The RSDF was created in response to the Strengthening Auckland's Regional Governance Project undertaken in 2007 and established as a standing committee of the Auckland Regional Council on 24 September 2007.
It will take a leadership role in the ongoing stewardship of the Auckland Sustainability Framework, Regional Growth Strategy and will oversee development of One Plan for the Auckland region.
