Six forces of change

Six forces of change are likely to impact the region and its people.  We need to be able to recognise the challenges and opportunities these present in order to build a resilient region that can cope with and benefit from change.

Climate Change

Research indicates that Auckland may become approximately 2 degrees warmer and experience more floods and droughts.

In the future there are going to be a lot more people living in our region - our population will become more ethnically diverse and we will have an older population.
